Moran’s is a very special place to stay. Steeped in history, the building was once a coaching house and inn, and later, a haberdashery, chemist and bank. Many of the original architectural features still remain reflecting its past. This includes the glorious big bay windows which displayed the wares from its time as a bakery.

These days Moran’s is a successful cafe and delicatessen providing regular locals and returning holidaymakers with Cornish breakfasts, soups, salads, sandwiches, paninis and Cornish pasties not to mention generous bowls of chilli, smoked fish platters and huge bowls of chips. The deli provides an excellent source for takeaway meals as well as cured meats, pates, Cornish cheeses, olives, chutneys and jams. In the evening the cafe is transformed into a welcoming and informal licensed bistro, where the home grown chef is proud to provide locally sourced fish and meat dishes as well as modern tapas ensembles.

Mel Moran and her local staff look forward to welcoming you and ensuring your stay is without doubt a stay to remember.
